Tell us something about you!
I am currently getting my M.Sc. at Trent University in the Environmental and Life Sciences Program. In my spare time, I am either in the lab doing research, watching bjj videos and/or Netflix and reminiscing about my motorcycle I no longer have (I miss you Scarlett).
For those looking to start or just starting out.
Just start, and keep going!
When did you start training? How long have you been with Eris?
I joined the cult of in Jiu-Jitsu 2013 and never looked back (sorry Crossfit). I have been with Eris for 9 spectacular months.
So why Jiu-Jitsu?
Other than being an amazing stress reliever and keeping my massive ego in check 24/7, screaming for the deity Craig Jones to save me, (congratulations on your engagement, do you think he will read this)?, I love the people in the community as well.
What do you think the strongest part of your Jiu-Jitsu game is? What is your favourite or go to moves?
The “strongest” part of my Jiu Jitsu game is half guard, but that still needs a lot of work. I do enjoy looking for kimura’s or attempting to sweep people from that position with limited success.
What is your favourite memory? Jiu-Jitsu and/or Muggle Life
Although I do not compete a lot, I loved competing in Cartagena Colombia. After a long day of competing and cheering on team mates, it was always amazing to go to the beach and relax in the old city.
